We will take you to discover the famous Soller Railway on this brand new half day tour. This is your chance to experience the more than 100-year old wooden carriage train in a half day tour. The trip doesn't start until midday, so you can sleep in and have breakfast in peace.
We will collect you at around 13:15-14:15 from a meeting point close to your hotel and we will drive you by coach to the station in Palma. Here you will board the vintage wooden train that will take you to Soller. The train, one of the oldest in Spain, passes through beautiful countryside on the route towards the mountains and then passes through tunnels, leading to the Soller Valley where you will have the most magnificent views of your holiday.
You will have approximately 35 minutes to enjoy Soller, the most stunning town in the Serra de Tramuntana, with its eclectic architecture and privileged location, surrounded by the impressive mountains. You will have time to stoll through the pretty streets, enjoy an ice cream made from the famous Soller oranges or visit the stunning church and main square.
Then we continue our adventure aboard the charming tram. Enjoy a scenic 25-minute journey through the picturesque valley, descending towards the enchanting Port Soller. Take in the panoramic views of the port during our 40-minute stop, before we make our way back, ensuring you make the most of this unforgettable excursion. We will return from Port Soller by coach at around 18:00.

Super trip!
Bus was late picking us up but caught up time and we were home again at expected time. Organisation was very good and easy to follow the guide. She was very knowledgeable and we both enjoyed the overall trip very much.
The tour guide Katarina was excellent. The trip was well organised and more or less on time. Will definitely be doing more excursions in the future.
Pro’s - tour guide amazing, lots of local knowledge, very informative and enthusiastic. When faced with a very rude customer who decided to take out a delay with the tram, unnecessarily on her, she still managed to come back smiling. Train ride was really good, lovely views and relaxing. Destinations were also lovely, bought ice cream in both Soller and Port Soller which were both delicious and cheap. Lovely square in Soller with great photo opportunities. Cons - would have liked just a little more time in Soller, the schedule is tight but it is the express tour. Also, for people with disabilities, there are high steps into both tram and train. The tram doesn’t have enough seats and despite the tour guide asking for people to be kind, everyone rushed for a seat and very able bodied people sat. I felt there should have been some reserved seats to stop this. The day was one of the hottest of the year and my disabled daughter wasn’t able to have a seat. This would have put me off booking if I’d known. I only hope the other people struggling managed to get a seat.
Wirklich eine gute Tour, gut organisiert und gute Infos von der Reiseleitung, und ein besonderer Vorteil im Vergleich wenn man die Tour auf eigene Faust macht: Die Bahn und Tram waren selbst im Mai schon sehr voll , aber wir hatten für die Reisegruppe jeweils ein Abteil reserviert und konnten entspannt einsteigen ohne Gedränge.

We chose this trip due to its pick up from the north of the island, and the half day duration. Which we felt would be more manageable for our 6 year old daughter. The trip was incredibly well organised, and the whole experience elevated due to our guide being able to arrange private carriages for the group. This made what could have been a highly stressful trip into one that allowed us to just relax and enjoy the wonderful journey. Highly recommended.

We chose the Soller Train and Tram half-day tour because we didn’t want a full-day excursion, and it was perfect. The late start meant a relaxed morning, and the train ride through the mountains was absolutely beautiful. The tram to Port de Sóller was a highlight and everything was very well organised from start to finish.
