We will take you to discover the famous Soller Railway on this brand new half day tour. This is your chance to experience the more than 100-year old wooden carriage train in a half day tour. The trip doesn't start until midday, so you can sleep in and have breakfast in peace.
We will collect you at around 13:15-14:15 from a meeting point close to your hotel and we will drive you by coach to the station in Palma. Here you will board the vintage wooden train that will take you to Soller. The train, one of the oldest in Spain, passes through beautiful countryside on the route towards the mountains and then passes through tunnels, leading to the Soller Valley where you will have the most magnificent views of your holiday.
You will have approximately 35 minutes to enjoy Soller, the most stunning town in the Serra de Tramuntana, with its eclectic architecture and privileged location, surrounded by the impressive mountains. You will have time to stoll through the pretty streets, enjoy an ice cream made from the famous Soller oranges or visit the stunning church and main square.
Then we continue our adventure aboard the charming tram. Enjoy a scenic 25-minute journey through the picturesque valley, descending towards the enchanting Port Soller. Take in the panoramic views of the port during our 40-minute stop, before we make our way back, ensuring you make the most of this unforgettable excursion. We will return from Port Soller by coach at around 18:00.
Customer Reviews for the Soller Train Tour
Absolutely brilliant trip! The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommend!
Wow just wow we were part of the purple rose family on 24 October on this trip the tour guide was AMAZING very knowledgeable and energetic it was an absolute pleasure to be part of the purple rose family for the afternoon if you are in doubt even after this review try it you will not regret it trip is worth every single penny We will never forget our very special purple rose parent 💜💜💜💜💜 five stars all round
This excursion included the two modes of transport we wanted to experience, before arriving in Majorca. Staying in Alcudia it seemed it would require a lot of planning, if embarking on the trip under one's own steam. Therefore the excursion offered by "no frills", was ideal and took all the planning and timing out of the equation. It's worth noting on both the train and tram, carriages are reserved and it isn't a free for all.
Great Tour. Best tourguide ever. And great driver. Lots of new impressions and informations.
Loved that this started in the afternoon and that we experienced the wonders of the Mallorca land and seascapes in a unique way. We would have liked more time in each place, even if this meant a slightly early start, and more consideration of accessibility needs, because one impacted the other. Our host was informative and friendly.
A value for money half day (we were based in Porto Pollensa). Efficient pick-up and comfortable coach. A little disorganised at Soller train station - I suspect pretty much the norm as so many people there. Would recommend.
Really nice trip with vintage train and the tram. Guide easy to understand and gave many usefull information.
Train & tram was amazing would have liked a little extra time in both resorts. The only negative comment is the bus journey back was far too long could have taken direct route but instead of an hour took 2 hours we just made it back with 30 minutes to spare before hotel restaurant closed
We took the half day trip on the Sollers train and tram, it was a great trip, picked up on a modern air conditioned bus and dropped off right outside the station, the train itself was remarkable with fantastic views on the journey, we had just enough time in Sollers to have a look round before taking the tram, Katrina our guide was also fantastic and very informative, the communication with No frills was very good with an immediate reply on WhatsApp to a question.
