This premium Palma excursion starts with a comfortable transfer by air-conditioned coach, with an approximate travel time of between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on your pick-up area. During the journey, your official guide will introduce you to the city of Palma, sharing historical background, practical tips and recommendations so you arrive well prepared and make the most of your time in the capital. One of the key advantages of this tour is the central drop-off location, just a short walk from the Cathedral and the old town, allowing you to avoid long walks and save time.
Â
Once in Palma, you will join a 45-minute guided walking tour through the historic old town, designed to give you a clear and engaging overview of the city’s most emblematic areas. You will stroll through medieval streets, traditional patios, city walls and historic squares, passing key points such as the area around La Lonja, Plaza Mayor and other architectural landmarks that reflect Palma’s Roman, Moorish and Christian heritage. The guide will explain the city’s evolution, daily life and traditions, helping you understand Palma beyond its monuments.
Â
The experience continues with a 45-minute guided visit inside Palma Cathedral, followed by approximately 4 to 4.5 hours of free time. During this free time, you can explore Palma at your own pace: enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants, visit museums, shop in the elegant streets, walk along the seafront or simply relax and soak up the atmosphere of Mallorca’s vibrant capital.
Â
Palma Cathedral, also known as La Seu, is one of the most iconic Gothic buildings in the Mediterranean and a true symbol of Mallorca. Its impressive location overlooking the sea, towering stone structure and vast interior spaces make it an unforgettable visit. Inside, you will admire the enormous rose window, one of the largest in Europe, the soaring vaulted ceilings and the unique combination of styles created over centuries. Highlights include architectural interventions by Antoni GaudĂ and the striking modern ceramic installation by Miquel BarcelĂł in the Chapel of the Holy Sacrament, making the Cathedral visit a powerful blend of history, art and spirituality.

Customer reviews of the PalmaBus Premium tour
Brilliant day out. Staff were friendly, very helpful and overall amazing. Booking was simple, the coach was lovely and clean with air conditioning. Walk was easy with the pram, the cathedral was stunning and a must visit. We also enjoyed the free time afterwards to explore the city, grab a bite and a bit of shopping. Highly recommended for both trip and company.
The booking process was very clear, and I received the two confirmation emails containing the exact pick-up time and location right away. The central drop-off location near the Cathedral was incredibly convenient, saving us from long walks in the heat. Our guide did an excellent job leading us through the medieval streets and Plaza Mayor during the 45-minute walking tour. Afterward, having around 4.5 hours of free time allowed me to enjoy a peaceful lunch and shop at my own pace. The return journey in the afternoon on the air-conditioned coach was very comfortable.
A highly commendable local company for excursions in Mallorca. The entire day was superbly structured, beginning with a punctual pick-up by a very polite coach driver. Our English-speaking official guide was exceptionally knowledgeable during the visit inside Palma Cathedral, pointing out the impressive GaudĂ alterations and the beautiful rose window. It is a very well-organized excursion that balances guided learning with independent exploration.
My boyfriend and I had an incredible day on this premium tour! The official guide on the coach was fantastic, giving us great historical context and even reminding us about the Cathedral's dress code before we arrived. The 45-minute old town walk was the perfect length to see the traditional patios, and the air-conditioned bus ride made the 90-minute journey very relaxed. Definitely great value for money!
Absolutely loved the guided part of this Palma trip with NoFrills. Skipping the lines at the Cathedral was a lifesaver and the coach driver got us there so fast.
An excellent trip well organised our guide kept us in the shade as much as possible, was very knowledgeable and caring as I struggle with upward inclines. Great value for money highly recommend 👍
Jeanine was a really good host, full of information, happy, chatty, and was a great walking tour.
The pick up/transfer could have been better managed as we had to swap buses in Alcuidia which caused confusion. The tour guide we had was Camy and she was amazing! So knowledgeable and helpful, even sharing a helpful guide of things to do in Palma. Thank you Camy. One thing you could do better is to have your meet point at palma over in front of the “lake” besides public toilets. There was a 10 minute delay when we arrived and confusion when leaving as people had wandered off to underground toilets that were difficult to locate.
An excellent trip
