Reviews of the Palma Bus with Cathedral Entrance Ticket
Response to the review: Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, Amy. We are pleased to hear that you chose Nofrills Excursions again after previous positive experiences, which makes it even more disappointing to learn that this tour did not meet your expectations. Many of the points you mention relate to communication during the excursion, and we completely understand how unclear instructions regarding the cathedral visit, tickets and group movements could create confusion. We will share your comments with our guide team so that explanations at key moments are clearer and easier for everyone to follow. Regarding the transfer logistics, especially for guests staying in Puerto Pollensa, we appreciate your feedback. During periods of lower demand, routes are sometimes combined to make excursions viable, although we understand this can result in longer journey times for some passengers. Thank you again for your honest comments. Feedback like yours helps us improve both our organisation and the overall experience for future guests. Kind regards, Nofrills Excursions Team 😊 Puerto Pollensa visitors are disadvantaged We booked with nofrills after good experiences in previous years but were quite disappointed in this excursion. These were the reasons - pickup/drop off location was 10 minutes from our hotel. - We were driven to Alcudia to be put on a different bus. A process that confused both us and the visitors to the aquarium that got on our bus. After this we still had to drive around to make various further pick ups to fill the obscenely large double decker coach - Sweaty men were permitted to get on our pickup bus without shirts on - We booked online and the guide seemed unsure about our tickets and if this would permit entry to the cathedral. Kept asking if we had a paper ticket. The ticket is just an email so it’s a bit confusing, and could be made clearer - It got really confusing on arrival. We were told to stay with the guide to go to the cathedral, but then we had to make an urgent toilet stop for other passengers and it all went a bit sideways. We were told we could just head off and enter the cathedral but a lot of information was given while facing away from us (back to us and looking at the cathedral) and it was hard to hear. We had been to Palma before so did know where we were going, but can imagine others found it confusing. We were also very unclear on if we could use the group tour entrance and had to check with security on the door using the email ticket. (Luckily they were quite okay with that and agreed we could) - It took 2 hours from leaving Palma for Pollensa passengers to be dropped off as we were driven through 4 resorts - C’an Picafort, Playa de Muro, Alcudia, and finally Puerto Pollensa. We arrived back one hour after the first drop offs. In total this means we spent as much time driving around resorts as we actually did in Palma. In previous years the guide has also organised us being dropped directly to our hotel. We understand that it is not quite high season yet, and so it makes more financial sense to fill one big bus, but for customers this is not a good experience and would benefit from better management.
Very grateful to get the pick up from our hotel to where we board the coach and everything went according to plan. No-one at fault for the bus breakdown that delayed the return, good work organising a replacement. I had not realised that the coach did numerous drop offs and that further delayed our return to our hotel: I had expected that everyone met at a central point.
We booked the PalmaBus excursion with Cathedral entrance ticket and it was one of the best decisions of our holiday. The coach was comfortable, the pick-up was well organised and the guide explained everything clearly on the way to Palma. Having the skip-the-line ticket for the Cathedral made a big difference, as we avoided long queues and could enter whenever we wanted. The central drop-off next to the Cathedral was perfect, giving us plenty of time to explore the old town, go shopping and enjoy lunch without rushing. A very complete and stress-free way to visit Palma.
Great experience with NoFrills Excursions. Everything worked exactly as explained: easy booking, clear emails and a smooth pick-up. The bus dropped us right by the Cathedral and the entrance ticket was super convenient. We had lots of free time to walk around Palma at our own pace. I would definitely book again with NoFrills.
Comfortable bus, easy Cathedral entry and lots of free time in Palma. Very well organised.
A great trip to Palma. Thank you Juan and Fernando.
We had a fantastic trip to Palma, can’t fault Nofrills excursions. Their tour guide was great and a lovely comfortable coach to top it off! Would highly recommend
Great trip to palma, lovely cold coach and water for a euro. Driver and guide were great fun, good information. Felt comfortable and relaxed.
Loved looking around Palma and the lovely cathedral. Just enough time to get some lunch and have a walk about the many streets and try not to get lost. There were lots of markets stalls to look at also. Take care on the roads as it’s a very busy place, and keep money out of reach of pick pockets (we were warned before leaving the bus but nothing happened to us) Juan was our guide and he was fantastic, full of information and funny. Definitely book again with no frills, good value for money
