This well-balanced day trip allows you to enjoy two of Mallorca’s top attractions in one single, carefully organised excursion, combining culture, shopping and family-friendly entertainment without rushing or stress. The day begins with a comfortable coach journey from northern Mallorca, accompanied by an experienced guide who explains the itinerary and provides useful tips to help you plan your time.
Upon arrival in Palma City, you’ll be dropped close to the historic centre, near the cathedral area. You’ll have approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes of free time to explore Palma at your own pace. This is the perfect opportunity to stroll through the charming old town, visit the iconic cathedral (optional), walk along the harbour, enjoy a coffee in one of the lively squares or go shopping in the main commercial streets. A city map is provided so you can easily orient yourself and choose what interests you most.
After your city visit, the coach will take you directly to Palma Aquarium, where fast-track entrance is included. This means you avoid queues and make the most of your time inside. You’ll have around 2 hours and 30 minutes to explore one of Europe’s most impressive aquariums, home to Mediterranean species, tropical coral reefs, interactive areas and the spectacular Big Blue, Europe’s deepest shark tank.
The aquarium visit is designed to be both educational and entertaining, making it ideal for families with children as well as adults. After the visit, you’ll return comfortably by coach to your resort, having enjoyed a complete and varied day that combines Palma’s urban charm with one of Mallorca’s top family attractions — all with transport and logistics taken care of.
Palma City and Palma Aquarium Tour Reviews
Great combination of Palma City and Palma Aquarium with transport included and no stress.
Booked with NoFrills Excursions and everything went smoothly. The guide was helpful, the schedule was well planned and Palma Aquarium exceeded our expectations. Ideal if you are staying in Alcudia and want an easy day trip.
This Palma City and Palma Aquarium day trip was perfect for our family holiday. We loved having free time in Palma to explore the old town and do some shopping, and the afternoon at Palma Aquarium was amazing for the kids. Everything was very well organised, the transport was comfortable and the fast-track entrance saved us a lot of time. A great way to see two highlights of Mallorca in one day.
Wonderful staff and so helpful, palma city is beautiful and clear instructions where to meet for collection too, would definitely book more trips with no frills excursions
Firstly the journey was absolutely hilarious, Juan and Fernando were just brilliant, funny, professional and informative. Our time in Palma was just perfect as was the aquarium. We enjoyed every part of the excursion. Its not our first with thos company, we have booked quite a few and will continue. Excellent all round team
It was an easy process to enable us to see key parts of Palma and simpler than getting a public bus from Alcudia. It would have been good to start the day earlier (we got to Palma at 11.30 ish) and it was quite busy - maybe arrival for 10 would have been better so people would still have time for breakfast at their hotels. The only downside was coming back, we had to go to all the hotels for drop off and ours was last so it took about 2 hours. Otherwise, Juan was amazing as a guide!
We had a wonderful trip with Juan and Rafa. Juan is warm, friendly, funny and really informative. He ensured we all knew where we needed to be and at what times….. everything ran to perfection. Timings were perfect. It was the first time we had been to the aquarium and it was brilliant would definitely recommend the additional €7 each payable inside for the virtual experience of swimming with sharks. Rafa delivered us safely back to our hotel. All in all a fabulous day as always x
Alles super
We had an awesome trip with NoFrills, and our guide Jeanine was great at telling us all about Mallorca and Palma along the way. We felt totally safe on the bus, even though the traffic was a bit wild. On the ride back from Palma to Alcudia, we got a pleasant surprise when the bus stopped at other hotels to drop off people – we ended up heading further north on the island and got some bonus sightseeing. Loved it!
Time is not enough to explore the city but it is enough for the aquarium I advise you to take the excursion to Palma and the aquarium separately Juan is very friendly
We want to know what you think
