With more than 500 kilometres of coastline, Mallorca offers countless places to kayak, but at NoFrills Excursions we focus on selecting only the very best routes. Thanks to our local expertise, we have chosen this small-group kayak excursion as one of the most complete and scenic experiences on the island, combining sea caves, hidden coves and iconic landmarks — all without the need for previous kayaking experience.
This guided kayak tour starts at Aucanada Beach, in the heart of Alcudia Bay. Before setting off, your experienced instructor will explain basic paddling techniques and safety guidelines, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and confident on the water. The route follows a beautiful stretch of coastline characterised by rocky formations, crystal-clear waters and quiet natural surroundings, making it ideal for relaxed exploration.
During the excursion, you will paddle past several highlights of the area, including the Aucanada Lighthouse, located on a small islet just off the coast, and the Sa Bassa Blanca area, where you can see an old defensive bunker and learn about the island’s coastal history. One of the most enjoyable stops is at Cala Farallo, a secluded cove where you can snorkel in transparent waters or, for the more adventurous, try optional cliff jumping under the instructor’s supervision.
The main highlight of the tour is reaching the famous Jack Sparrow’s Cave, one of Mallorca’s most iconic sea caves. You will enter the cave directly by kayak, explore its interior and take photos of the unique rock formations and light reflections inside. Throughout the approximately 2.5-hour kayak tour, your guide will share interesting information about the coastline, marine life and the history of the area, turning this adventure into a complete and memorable experience on the sea.

Customer reviews for the Jack Sparrow Cave kayak tour in Mallorca
Unforgettable kayak trip. Entering the cave by kayak was something really special. Highly recommended.
Great experience with NoFrills Excursions. Easy route, friendly guide and beautiful coastline. Perfect even if you’ve never kayaked before.
A fantastic kayak tour in Mallorca. The Jack Sparrow Cave was impressive and the snorkelling stop in the hidden cove was amazing. Very well organised.
We had an amazing morning today! We got picked up at our hotel by our instructor/guide, who told us interesting things about the Island, nice places to visit and in general was just very friendly. The instructions by our guide were very clear and throughout the Tour we felt in good hands. There was supposed to be another group, but they didn't show up, so we got a private tour. Our guide nonetheless put in full effort and was just perfect. Funny, friendly, coaching, checking in on us frequently, telling us things about the Island, history, places and the sea. The guide really puts your experience and fun as his priority. We couldn't go into the caves due to high waves (unless we really wanted to) so he gave an alternate Tour that was still really good and informative. He had snorkeling equipment, life jackets, a waterproof bag and a waterproof phone holder that still let you make pictures without Taking it out (great for snorkeling pics!). I don't have any negative points about this tour, it was just great! I'd highly recommend it.
Great excursion, Dennis was informative and helpful. We saw and stopped off at a couple of places and going into the caves, both on kayaks and swimming was a great experience. We also brought our two young children aged 4 and 5 with us and they had a good time including swimming.
Absolutely fantastic tour, Dennis was an amazing Guide, always looking out for all of us, no rushing, always stopping for breaks. A nice stop for snorkelling and then swimming in another area. Worth every penny! Highly recommend this tour, amazing value for money! Kayaks were safe and well looked after. I had my nine year old daughter with me.
Great experience, perfectly organized with an excellent tour guide. There was also time to stop for snorkeling and a cave visit.
An enjoyable healthy afternoon activity suitable for beginners and intermediate alike. The guide was informative and attentive. I enjoyed the little hike (take adequate footwear) to the "White House" and information about the lighthouse on the island. Also enjoyed the swim. 👍
Toni was an excellent rowing instructor and guide. He's knowledgeable of the water and beaches, as well as the surroundings and history and culture. It was a great experience to share this with him.
Great experience. Tony was a great instructor. Would recommend to anyone who is a sea lover
