The Island Tour will keep you captivated all day thanks to its unique combination of road, sea and rail travel, perfectly balanced with free time at each stop. You’ll journey along the spectacular west coast of Mallorca, enjoying some of the most breathtaking views in the Mediterranean, while discovering the UNESCO-protected Serra de Tramuntana with commentary from our knowledgeable guide.
Once everyone has been picked up by coach, the tour heads into the heart of the Tramuntana Mountains, following one of the island’s most scenic and photographed mountain roads towards Sa Calobra. Along the way, you’ll enjoy unforgettable panoramic views and plenty of opportunities for photos.
On arrival at Sa Calobra, you’ll have free time to relax and explore this extraordinary natural setting. We always aim to arrive early, allowing you to experience Sa Calobra at its most peaceful and unspoilt, before other groups arrive. This gives you the chance to explore the impressive Torrent de Pareis gorge at a relaxed pace.
Afterwards, we continue the adventure by boat, sailing from Sa Calobra to Puerto de Sóller on a journey of around 40 minutes. From the sea, you’ll admire dramatic cliffs and coastal scenery that simply cannot be seen from land.
In Puerto de Sóller, you’ll enjoy free time for lunch and relaxation. Whether you choose a seaside restaurant recommended by the guide or explore on your own, this stop offers the perfect break in a stunning natural harbour.
In the afternoon, we board the historic Sóller tram, travelling along the seafront and through orange and lemon groves to the town of Sóller. Here, you’ll have time for a short stroll through its charming historic centre before boarding the famous wooden Sóller train.
The final stage of the tour takes you by vintage train through the beautiful Sóller Valley, passing through mountain tunnels and countryside landscapes on a route that has remained almost unchanged for over 100 years. On arrival near Palma, your coach will be waiting to take you comfortably back to your resort.

Wow, excellent trip!! It was such a great way to spend a day in Majorca! The guide was brilliant, she was such a lovely person and her husband did a great job of navigating the bends on some very challenging roads! This was a thoroughly enjoyable day trip. The bus tour through the mountains was magnificent, the visit to the canyon amazing, the boat trip from Sa Colabra to Port Sóller was spectacular, the tram and train trips from Port Soller to Soller and onwards to Palma were a step back in time. All in all this trip crammed a lot into a day. Well worth the early rise.
Island Tour - what a tour. From pick up in Puerto Pollensa to drop off at the end of the day it was amazing. Martha was a fantastic guide and the bus driver was exceptional on those mountain roads. Sa Colabra is stunning and the boat trip to port soller was beautiful. Lovely lunch in port soller before taking the tram to a very hot soller. Definitely have a wee wander into soller just to view the tram coming through the centre. The train trip through the mountains back to Palma was another highlight. I cannot rate No Frills Excursions and their team highly enough. Get this trip booked.
Fantastic day exploring the island via various transports. Coach, boat, tram and train! Short stops at each place with a slightly longer stop in Sa Calobra to grab a bit of lunch. Soller Bomb highly recommended.
