The Island Tour will keep you captivated all day thanks to its unique combination of road, sea and rail travel, perfectly balanced with free time at each stop. You’ll journey along the spectacular west coast of Mallorca, enjoying some of the most breathtaking views in the Mediterranean, while discovering the UNESCO-protected Serra de Tramuntana with commentary from our knowledgeable guide.
Once everyone has been picked up by coach, the tour heads into the heart of the Tramuntana Mountains, following one of the island’s most scenic and photographed mountain roads towards Sa Calobra. Along the way, you’ll enjoy unforgettable panoramic views and plenty of opportunities for photos.
On arrival at Sa Calobra, you’ll have free time to relax and explore this extraordinary natural setting. We always aim to arrive early, allowing you to experience Sa Calobra at its most peaceful and unspoilt, before other groups arrive. This gives you the chance to explore the impressive Torrent de Pareis gorge at a relaxed pace.
Afterwards, we continue the adventure by boat, sailing from Sa Calobra to Puerto de Sóller on a journey of around 40 minutes. From the sea, you’ll admire dramatic cliffs and coastal scenery that simply cannot be seen from land.
In Puerto de Sóller, you’ll enjoy free time for lunch and relaxation. Whether you choose a seaside restaurant recommended by the guide or explore on your own, this stop offers the perfect break in a stunning natural harbour.
In the afternoon, we board the historic Sóller tram, travelling along the seafront and through orange and lemon groves to the town of Sóller. Here, you’ll have time for a short stroll through its charming historic centre before boarding the famous wooden Sóller train.
The final stage of the tour takes you by vintage train through the beautiful Sóller Valley, passing through mountain tunnels and countryside landscapes on a route that has remained almost unchanged for over 100 years. On arrival near Palma, your coach will be waiting to take you comfortably back to your resort.

An amazing day on the Island tour. The weather was glorious so we were able to appreciate the wonderful views in the mountains. The natural beauty of the scenery is outstanding. The trip was incredibly well run by Louis whose knowledge and commentary along with the expert skills of the coach driver made this such a memorable day. The different transport modes of the coach, boat, tram and train give you different perspectives of the area. Many happy memories of an awesome day out.
We had a fantastic day on the island tour. The guide and coach driver were very friendly and organised and so we got to experience the beauty of Northern Mallorca via boat, train and tram. Dori our guide was relaxed, kind and had a good sense of humour
Loved it. Fantastisk natur och underbara vyer genom bergen och ner till Port de Sòller. Vi besökte också Monasterio de Lluc, vackert dock var jag inte inuti då jag reser med min mamma som har svårt att gå. Båt tur ut en bit från hamnen i Sóller och sedan spårvagn in till Sòller, med på Unesco lista över världsarv. Kyrkan och torget är underbart... sedan tåg genom bergen till Palma och sedan buss hemmåt igen mot Alcudia. Vår turguid Luis var mkt bra och dessutom fin att se på...
A fantastically organized excursion; we were lucky enough to be part of a very small, intimate group. Our guide, Ricardo, was brilliant—he shared all the essential information about Mallorca and its history, all while being a very likeable person with a great sense of humor. Without a second thought, next time we’ll choose to go on excursions exclusively with No Frills Excursions. I’d recommend them to anyone—worth every euro!
The Island tour was a very good excursion. Our guide Jeanine was knowledgeable & helpful & the driver (whose name I didn’t catch) was excellent. The full day out was well organised with the coach, boat, tram & train travel & free time to look around & buy meals/refreshments. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
The pacing of the day was just perfect, enough time for everything and the guide Tori was just perfect. I felt taken care of. Tori knew exactly what to point out, made jokes, was chilled and very attentive. No long waiting, clear instructions, enough time to chill, everything was perfect! Michael Angelo was a great driver, felt very safe on the curvy mountain roads :)

Hello Nofrills-Excursions. First of all I would like to thank you for that amazing day. Only one remark on time planning. Could be a little bit longer at the monastery and shorter at the last stop Tram to train as 30minutes are even not enough for anything besides visiting the restroom and waiting. Greatings
Thoroughly enjoyed my day. It was a pity about thunder and lightening on boat ride but everyone was friendly and helpful. I loved it.
