The Island Tour will keep you captivated all day thanks to its unique combination of road, sea and rail travel, perfectly balanced with free time at each stop. You’ll journey along the spectacular west coast of Mallorca, enjoying some of the most breathtaking views in the Mediterranean, while discovering the UNESCO-protected Serra de Tramuntana with commentary from our knowledgeable guide.
Once everyone has been picked up by coach, the tour heads into the heart of the Tramuntana Mountains, following one of the island’s most scenic and photographed mountain roads towards Sa Calobra. Along the way, you’ll enjoy unforgettable panoramic views and plenty of opportunities for photos.
On arrival at Sa Calobra, you’ll have free time to relax and explore this extraordinary natural setting. We always aim to arrive early, allowing you to experience Sa Calobra at its most peaceful and unspoilt, before other groups arrive. This gives you the chance to explore the impressive Torrent de Pareis gorge at a relaxed pace.
Afterwards, we continue the adventure by boat, sailing from Sa Calobra to Puerto de Sóller on a journey of around 40 minutes. From the sea, you’ll admire dramatic cliffs and coastal scenery that simply cannot be seen from land.
In Puerto de Sóller, you’ll enjoy free time for lunch and relaxation. Whether you choose a seaside restaurant recommended by the guide or explore on your own, this stop offers the perfect break in a stunning natural harbour.
In the afternoon, we board the historic Sóller tram, travelling along the seafront and through orange and lemon groves to the town of Sóller. Here, you’ll have time for a short stroll through its charming historic centre before boarding the famous wooden Sóller train.
The final stage of the tour takes you by vintage train through the beautiful Sóller Valley, passing through mountain tunnels and countryside landscapes on a route that has remained almost unchanged for over 100 years. On arrival near Palma, your coach will be waiting to take you comfortably back to your resort.
Island tour reviews
Best way to see Mallorca in one day. Highly recommended.
We booked the Island Tour with NoFrills Excursions and felt looked after all day. Clear information, friendly guide and smooth logistics throughout.
The Island Tour was the highlight of our holiday in Mallorca. Everything was perfectly organised, from the early pick-up to the different transport connections. Sa Calobra was stunning, the boat ride unforgettable and the vintage train through Sóller valley was magical. A long day, but incredibly well paced and absolutely worth it.
Three generation family of five enjoyed an amazing nine hour trip around the North of the island. Extremely well organised with great communication. We travelled by coach, boat, tram and train and loved every minute. Very good value for money. Highly recommend.
Ik vond het een super dag! Gids Marta vertelde heel boeiend en de chauffeur reed erg voorzichtig. Ik heb genoten van de tocht, heel goed gedaan! Zoveel moois gezien, top! Y muchas gracias!
A great day out.
Our excursion on the full day island was the highlight of our holiday. Luis was an excellent guide and everything was well organised. The scenery was beautiful and we loved the trips on the tram and train.
Although we were picked up late, everything about the day was fantastic. It combined my 3 favourite types of transport: boat, tram and train. Our guide Luis was humorous and well organised. Our driver Heraldo was careful and considerate. Together they make a good team. On the journey there was just enough information to absorb to appreciate the natural beauty of the area. Warning - it is a long day. There were very well behaved children in the group but I personally wouldn't recommend it as there's a lot of travelling. Even I fell asleep briefly on the way back to the drop off point. It's a shame we didn't get to spend longer in places but to fit everything in we had time limits. Overall this trip was excellent with opportunities to see parts of Mallorca from different methods of transport. I loved it!
Very varied and enjoyable exploring the island by tram, wooden carriages train, boat and coach. Angela the guide and Emilio the driver were superb and very helpful and friendly with this wheelchair user, guiding us with an interesting commentary. How Emilio negotiated the hairpin bends was inspiring !
An enjoyable day with a very good host and driver. Understand timetable and excursion constraints, but would have been nice to spend a little longer at the stops, especially Soller town. That said, we really enjoyed the day even with a bit of rain thrown in.
