The guided walk begins in the monumental area of Palma, where you will see two of the city’s most important landmarks: Palma Cathedral and the Almudaina Palace. From here, your private guide will lead you through the narrow streets of the old town, sharing fascinating insights into the history and evolution of the city.
As you stroll through charming squares and quiet alleys, you will discover beautiful 16th-century courtyards, known locally as patios, as well as hidden gems such as the Convent of Santa Clara and the Arab Baths. The route also passes through the former Jewish Quarter, offering an opportunity to learn more about this historic community and its influence on Mallorca.
The final part of the walking tour introduces you to Palma’s modernist architecture, explaining how the Art Nouveau movement reached the island and left its mark on the city. Thanks to the private format, the itinerary and pace can be adapted to your interests, ensuring a comfortable and personalised experience throughout.
Palma de Mallorca Private Walking Tour Customer Reviews
As a senior traveler visiting Mallorca, I prefer a comfortable walk where the pace isn't dictated by others. NoFrills Excursions provided a truly professional service, allowing us to choose a start time that perfectly matched our holiday plans. Our guide was incredibly nice, assisting us whenever we wanted to pause for a photo or a rest, ensuring a zero-worry excursion where we could simply immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Almudaina Palace and the narrow historic alleys. Having a dedicated expert completely focused on our small party made the entire experience in Palma feel authentic and highly personalized.
My partner and I wanted a flexible itinerary that focused on the modernist architecture and the historic Convent of Santa Clara. The guide was so nice and helpful, explaining everything in fluent English and making it a completely zero-worry excursion because they adapted the 2.5-hour route entirely to our personal interests. Seeing Palma Cathedral up close without being part of a massive, rushed group was wonderful. It is definitely one of those recommended excursions in Mallorca if you appreciate local history and a stress-free environment.
An excellent way to discover the former Jewish Quarter, the Arab Baths, and the beautiful 16th-century courtyards. NoFrills Excursions sent us perfect meeting point details right to our email after booking. Highly recommended excursions for those looking for a tailored experience.
We booked this private tour to explore Palma's old town at our own pace. The driver who dropped us off and our private guide were very nice, helping us navigate the streets effortlessly and ensuring a zero-worry excursion since they took care of the entire route and timeline for us.
Great value for money if you split the cost within a group instead of paying per person.
We appreciated the effort to put the tour in place, but we felt that some parts of the experience could have been better. At times, the guide came across a bit rigid in her interactions, and there were several suggestions for private tours or shopping stops that made some of the tour/experience/conversations feel more sales-focused. Overall, it wasn’t the right fit for us, and we probably wouldn’t recommend this guide to close friends or family.
Jeannine again provided a nice and insightful tour! Thank you!
Two knowlegable guides for two of our groups. The last group had a guide who was somewhat hard to hear and had trouble making the tour walking due to a bad hip. Seemed weird to have to pay the price for that experience.
We had a great tour with Albert. He taught us a lot of history about that island that we wouldn't have known without him. He added some humor and kept it exciting!
Have visited many cathedrals, was really blown away visiting this one, very beautiful. Even the walk around out side was inviting, views amazing
