What do we do on our sunset excursion to Formentor?
A brand new tour that takes you to the spectacular Formentor area to see the sunset and the most magnificent views the island has to offer. We operate this exclusive tour in small groups and travel by minibus to discover the incredible beauty of the Formentor peninsula.
We will drive away from the resort and along the serpentine road that leads to Formentor at the tip of the Tramuntana Mountain Range. The views on the journey will be absolutely stunning, therefor we will stop along the way to take some amazing photos. One of our photo stops will be at the Es Colomer view point, where the scenery is absolutely breathtaking!
From there we will drive to the Atalaya de Albercutx watchtower in Formentor, which is located 380 metres above sea level. On our way, we will experience the magnificent views and stunning landscape. The climax of the excursion will be when we get to the watchtower itself, where you can explore and take photos of the surrounding area and the very unique panoramic views of the mediterranean. We will then toast the sunset with a glass of cava and some fresh locally sourced strawberries as the sun sets over the stunning Formentor Peninsula.

Pick up from the hotel or a nearby meeting point and drop off is included if you are staying in Alcudia, Puerto Alcudia, Playa de Muro, Can Picafort, Puerto Pollensa, or Pollensa. Otherwise, we will arrange to meet you in Alcudia or Port Alcudia at a place with easy and free parking.

This tour has a duration of approximately 3.5 hours. Departure time is between 18:00 and 19:00 depending on the month and arrival time back in resort is between 21:00 and 22:00.

Pick up point:
The pick up point for the sunset excursion in Formentor is confirmed to you after you have made your booking. We will pick you up at your hotel or at a point nearby in the north area of the island. On the booking form you can select the resort and a hotel. Once you make the reservation you will receive two emails:
- A first one with all the details related to the booking which you can either print or show on the day of the excursion on your mobile phone or tablet.
- A second email indicating the exact pick up or departure point and the time you must be there.

Absolutely fantastic. From the minute we were picked up by Pedro. It was a small group which was great. Pedro was great with local information, and look after all of us. The sunset was amazing along with fresh strawberries and Cava, just brilliant. Though if you have difficulty in walking it does have steps and uneven rocks, just for thought. It is not that easy to visit Formentor, if you are first time on the island. There are alot of restrictions and different difficulties, which are unknown at first. With the nofrills the trip was easy, views - stunning. Great atmosphere and mood, will definitely visit again.

Booked this trip online whole experience was brilliant and well communicated. Small group so was more enjoyable and personal Pedro was lovely and ensured me and my daughters was looked after the whole time. Would definitely recommend trainers though as there is some steps to climb. The view was amazing with a lovely glass of cava and strawberries.
