A brand new tour that takes you to the spectacular Formentor area to see the sunset and the most magnificent views the island has to offer. We operate this exclusive tour in small groups and travel by minibus to discover the incredible beauty of the Formentor peninsula.
We will drive away from the resort and along the serpentine road that leads to Formentor at the tip of the Tramuntana Mountain Range. The views on the journey will be absolutely stunning, therefor we will stop along the way to take some amazing photos. One of our photo stops will be at the Es Colomer view point, where the scenery is absolutely breathtaking!
From there we will drive to the Atalaya de Albercutx watchtower in Formentor, which is located 380 metres above sea level. On our way, we will experience the magnificent views and stunning landscape. The climax of the excursion will be when we get to the watchtower itself, where you can explore and take photos of the surrounding area and the very unique panoramic views of the mediterranean. We will then toast the sunset with a glass of cava and some fresh locally sourced strawberries as the sun sets over the stunning Formentor Peninsula.

Free hotel pick up and drop off is included if you are staying in Alcudia, Puerto Alcudia, Playa de Muro, Can Picafort, Puerto Pollensa, or Pollensa. Otherwise, we will arrange to meet you in Alcudia or Port Alcudia at a place with easy and free parking.

Brilliant sunset tour - Pedro provided very interesting facts on the way to Formentor and allowed for sufficient time to stop at 3 stunning sites for photos. The views from the top of Cap Formentor during sunset were spectacular, topped off with lovely strawberries & refreshments. Great value for money - would do this again, thank you Pedro! P.S. Wear trainers to aid the slight climb to the top.
Just spectacular! Piedro is a wonderful guide and mostly an experienced driver. The route is full of curves, narrow, but he managed all of that brilliantly. The view at the top is just breathtaking! Highly recommend

The best! We booked many tours on our first visit to Spain. Madrid, Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada, Barcelona and Mallorca, and our No Frills Tour with Pedro was the best of them all. A customized sunset tour of Pollenca & Formentor was the perfect way to bid adios to our favorite province in all of Spain and perhaps the world. Mallorca is an incredible paradise, and NoFrills Excursions made the final day the sweetest kiss goodbye. Although it was not one of their featured tours, I enquired about the possibility of a customized sunset tour beginning in Alcudia and to include Pollentia, Mirador es Colomer, Albercutx Watchtower and Cap Formentor. NoFrills put together a custom itinerary for 3 people in March at a fair price, and it was the highlight of our visit to Spain. I cannot say enough about Pedro! A local of 50 years on the island, he navigated the hairpin turns of Formentor with the dexterity that only a long-time local dirver can, He guided us, explained the history of the sites and prepared a Cava (Spanish Champagne) and strawberry sunset toast for us. The roads above Mirador es Colomer close in May, so if you want to see Albercutx and Cap Formetor at sunset, you should book before the high season. No matter when you book, I recommend NoFrills Excusrions for their excellent communication and execution. They communicate very well on WhatsApp and email. There were not hiccups, and the entire experience was like clockwork. If you have the chance, ask for Pedro to be your guide. He is delightful in every way.
We would highly recommend this trip, great value for money . Pedro our driver and guide is a lovely guy, very friendly and informative. Collection was arranged via Whatts app and Pedro turned up exactly as arranged. The trip was perfectly timed and we made it to the lighthouse to watch the beautiful sunset after three other stops to be able to make the most of the special views. We felt in safe hands as the minibus winded it’s way up and down the hair pin bends whilst avoiding multiple cyclists . Everyone’s comfort and needs were met including those of an elderly gentleman with mobility issues , step provided for easier access in and out of minibus . Thank you for a really lovely evening ,
