This hugely popular boat trip takes you on a glass bottom boat across the beautiful Bay of Alcudia to the most northern tips of Mallorca: Formentor Beach and Cap Formentor. There you will have amazing views of the dramatic coastline as it's the point where the spectacular Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range begins.
Take a fascinating sea journey on our glass bottom boat with submarine vision, through which you can admire the seabed with its abundant fishes and plants. You will also discover the fascinating coves on the northern coast and we will be able to enjoy the cool, sparkling waters at Formentor Beach for an hour. We will finish our boayt trip with a photo stop in Cap de Formentor, one of the most famous places in Mallorca.
Onboard the boat there is a bar with drinks and snacks available for purchase.
Formentor Boat Trip Reviews
Looked good on paper but having done it the trip is too rushed. Too many people on the boat also to be able to get good pics. I don’t know why they don’t come back at a later time after arriving at the beach as you have barely enough time for a dip in the water. It’s a long journey back too, with nothing of interest. Not value for money for me.
Save your money and book a pedalo at your beach, it’s just an expensive ferry to an overcrowded beach
Great cruise, good value for the money. Unforgettable impressions and great photos. Playa de Formentor is probably the prettiest beach I've ever seen. If I have to complain about something, it was quite poor communication on the ship - supposedly in Spanish and English, but it was barely understandable in English.
It's not worth it, you go with a lot of people, it takes a long time by boat and the beach is very crowded and full of jellyfish... You see the lighthouse a few seconds away... I wouldn't repeat the truth
Great trip! The boat cruise was a wonderful, nice atmosphere, full of beautiful landscapes! On the way to Formentor, the crew took us to Coll Baix bay where we could jump into the water from the ship! It was something wonderful - clear water in which you could see a lot of fishes. The Formentor beach itself is very charming, the water is clear, the beach is a little bit rocky! Swimming in such a place is a wonderful experience. I recommend this trip with all of my heart!
It was very busy onboard. Many of the seats do not give you a view. We didn't get close to the lighthouse. The one hour stop at the beach was lovely though.
A great trip. Only complain, the boat seemed a little crowded so it was difficult to find seating as we were the last group to board. The crew were very friendly and funny, the route was interesting and there was enough time for swimming from the boat.
We took part on the Formentor boat trip. First the company forgot to inform us that the trip was amended, hence we had to wait more than an hour and a half for the boat at the pier. You must be billionaire to buy water on the boat as the biggest bottle is 300ml and costs about 2€. Glass bottom boats would be called as peasant-blinding in my country as you can't see anything interesting through the windows. The view of cliffs on the trip are breathtaking but the Formentor beach (promised as crystal clear water, bla-bla-bla, etc) is just an average small beach overloaded by lots of tourists who come with many boats based on the promise above. All in all, our experience was various. I wouldn't recommend this trip with good heart.
This tour was incredible and I enjoyed it from start to end. Highly rekommend it!
Formentor beach was gorgeous. Pick up time was but too early though so had to stand on pier at beach for approx 20 mins in sweltering heat with no seats (or bars to hold onto as standing on pier in sea so not good if scared of heights). Few people sick on boat due to choppy waters. Beach and views were beautiful!
