We are very lucky that in the area where we operate we have some of the best boat trips in Mallorca. The north area of Mallorca (with the resorts of Puerto Pollensa, Port de Alcudia, Playa de Muro and Can Picafort) has 2 bays: the bay of Alcudia and the bay of Pollensa, being the first one the biggest in Mallorca, and the second one the smallest. Each one is different but it has a great scenery, many coves and numerous options for a great day out at sea.
This is a great boat trip for all the family and it sails several days a week so there is plenty of choice.
On this boat trip you can visit the most spectacular beach in the north: Formentor Beach. There are boat trips to Formentor departing from Alcudia, Can Picafort and Puerto Pollensa. Some of which take place on a glass bottom boat.
You will see the gorgeous northern coastline as you sail from the Bay of Alcudia or the Bay of Pollensa to Formentor. Regardless of which resort you are departing from, you will have free time in Formentor, giving you time to explore and swim from this amazing beach with its crystal clear waters and shoals of tiny fishes. You are welcome to bring a picnic with you if you wish but onboard the boat you will find a snack bar, so if you want to enjoy the breeze with a cold drink in your hand, the Formentor boat trip is a great activity for you.
Apart of recomending the best Mallorca boat trips, we also want to mention the catamaran trips. A sailing catamaran in the north of Mallorca is an excursion where you can truly relax. Feel the wind in your hair as you enjoy the spectacular vistas of Mallorcaās dramatic coastline and some of the most stunning scenery in the Mediterranean.
Whether you sail from Puerto de Alcudia or Puerto Pollensa you will see breathtaking views and discover virgin coves away from the crowds, where you can swim in turquoise waters or use the snorkelling masks available to try spot the marine life. Onboard the catamaran you can enjoy the unique experience of helping the crew to hoist the sail, or you can just relax on the nets or on the benches. Lunch is included onboard and will be prepared fresh by your crew. A last stop for swimming on the way back to Alcudia or Puerto Pollensa will complete this wonderful tour. If you are staying in Can Picafort, look for options that include transport.
A dolphin-watching boat trip is a true highlight of any holiday and a magical experience.
We are very lucky in Mallorca to be able to see dolphins in the wild. These elegant creatures can be found off the north coast of Mallorca out in the higher waters and we see them at dawn. Our boat trip will take you at sunrise, out to see the awesome dolphins in their natural habitat, swimming close to the boat, playing, and perhaps showing off their graceful dives.
We set sail from east-facing Alcudia or Puerto Pollensa just before daybreak and are first of all rewarded by the magnificent sunrise over the water. We make our way to deeper waters and begin our search for dolphins, though we donāt normally have to wait very long as these playful creatures normally find us. We will have some magical moments gazing at the dolphins and will have fantastic opportunities to capture excellent photos. When itās time to sail back to the port, we will take our time and will enjoy breakfast aboard the boat.
A very popular Mallorca boat trip is the glass bottom boat. What better way to enjoy the views of Alcudiaās Bay than from the sea? Take this fun boat trip on a glass bottom boat around the bay of Alcudia or Pollensa. Enjoy the stunning views of the areas of Aucanada and Cap Menorca from the top deck, or go downstairs to the lower deck and look through the glass to the sea as you try to spot the fishes and marine creatures. Donāt forget your bathing suit as you will also enjoy a quick swim at Es Coll Baix, one of the most picturesque coves of Mallorca. With daily departures from Can Picafort, Playa de Muro, Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa, this is an unmissable activity when you are on holiday in Mallorca, especially for families with children who are looking for a short and also fun option.
In the touristic resorts of Can Picafort, Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa there are many options to rent a boat for your own use, whether with skipper or without. The calm sea and beautiful views in the north of Mallorca make for excellent conditions for this type of activity. You can hop aboard a typical fishing boat or sail away on a magnificent sailing boat with crew, lunch and drinks included: all you have to worry about is whether to snorkel or sunbathe!
